70th Birthday Adventure – Mountains and Castles
Day One:
Arrival Geneva airport. Private transport to Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland. Spend the afternoon exploring Villars-sur-Ollon.
Day Two:
Drive to Lake Geneva and discover the Chateau de Chillon and the lakeside villages.
Day Three:
Explore Bretaye, mountain region just above Villars. In the summer this ski area transforms into beautiful hillsides and lakes.
Day Four:
Travel by private car over the Grand St. Bernard mountain pass into Italy. Check out some of Italy’s oldest ruins with a stroll through Aosta’s center, lunch in an Italian café then onward, up the mountain to Courmayeur.
Day Five:
Discover Courmayeur, Italy. Just outside of the village you will find Val Ferret, a breathtaking valley that runs along the base of Mont Blanc and eventually ends in Switzerland. Spend the evening relaxing and tasting Italian wines.
Day Six:
Journey to Chamonix, France by private car just through the Mont Blanc tunnel. Explore Chamonix’s, pedestrian-only town center. You can take Montenvers mountain railway to visit ice caves in Mer de Glace.
Day Seven:
Leave Chamonix for departure from Geneva Airport by private car just a one hour’s drive.
